Seneca County Sheriff Deputies investigated a two car personal injury accident that occurred on March 15, 2012 at 6:36 am on St. Rt. 96A in the Town of Romulus. A vehicle driven by Julian A. Stamp age 78 of 7542 C.R. 129 Ovid NY was north bound on St. Rt. 96A and slowing to make a right hand turn onto Kinne Rd when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Gloria J. Luffman age 54 of 45 Rumsey St. Seneca Falls. South Seneca Ambulance responded to the scene and transported Luffman to Geneva General Hospital for chest pain. Stamp was uninjured. Ovid Fire Department also responded to the scene to assist. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Luffman was issued a ticket for following too closely and is to appear in Romulus Town Court April 27, 2012 to answer to the charge.
