Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a personal injury motor vehicle accident on Route 5 in the Town of Waterloo. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Daniel Aumell, 26, of 1753 Stump Road, Marcellus, New York was traveling east on Route 5 and made a left turn into the path of a vehicle traveling westbound operated by Pauline Incanado, 88, 280 Fall Street, Seneca Falls, New York. Incarnado complained of chest and leg pain and was transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance and later to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight. Incarnado was listed in critical condition at Strong Memorial Hospital. Aumell complained of leg pain but refused treatment at the scene. Aumell was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way left turn. Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted by the New York State Police, Border City Fire Department and North Seneca Ambulance. Both vehicles were heavily damaged and were towed from the scene. The investigation is continuing.
