Sheriff David Gould reports that the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating numerous outside fires which occurred along the roadsides at locations in Southern Cayuga County on the evenings of March 13, 2012 and March 14, 2012. Fires have been reported on Rockefeller and Skinner Hill Roads in the Town of Moravia, Route 38 in the Town of Locke, Howell Road in the Town of Summerhill and Route 90 in Town of Springport. The investigation does indicate that these fires have been intentionally set.THE SHERIFF REQUESTS THAT ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION OR ANYONE WHO HAS SEEN ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS IN THESE AREAS, PLEASE CALL THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE AT 315‐253‐1610 TO REPORT YOUR CONCERNS.
