On Friday, March 9, 2012 at 1:16 p.m., the Waterloo Police Department investigated a personal injury motor vehicle accident.As a result of the investigation, it was determined that Sarah L. Pesta, 24 of 194 Border City Rd. Geneva, NY was operating a vehicle on West MainStreet and had stopped while an uninvolved vehicle was making a left turn onto North Seneca Street. Pesta’s vehicle was struck in the rear by a vehicle operated by Elizabeth M. Vogt, 25 of POB 455 Stanley, NY.Pesta complained of back pain and was checked over at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance.Vogt was issued a traffic ticket for Following Too Closely.Pesta as issued traffic tickets for Unlicensed Operator and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the third degree.Both females are to answer their respective charges in the Waterloo Village Court on April 4, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.The Waterloo Volunteer Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
