The Seneca County District Attorney announced that a Seneca County Grand Jury has returned a five-count indictment charging Todd D. Reed, 49 years old, of Seneca Falls with Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the Second Degree, Attempted Rape in the Second Degree, Attempted Criminal Sexual Act in the Second Degree, Criminal Solicitation in the Third Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The first four counts are class E felony offenses, which may be punishable by a maximum sentence of four years, and the last count is a misdemeanor offense. The indictment resulted from an investigation conducted by the Seneca Falls Police Department. The indictment is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
