Congratulations to South Seneca Coach John Barkee for being named Wayne-Finger Lakes Wrestling Coach of the Year. A well-deserved honor to a hard working Falcon, Mr. Barkee works all year to build the South Seneca wrestling program, which includes the PeeWee wrestling program. Also, he aided in another South Seneca first, the first South Seneca wrestler to ever place in the New York State Wrestling Championships, Hayden Wagner, who placed third in an impressive showing! Among his many awards, Mr. Barkee also won Section V Class BB Coach of the year last year, also.
