The Geneva City School District Universal Pre-Kindergarten program is recruiting participants for the 2012 –2013 school year. The UPK program is for all Geneva City School District children who are four years old as of December 1st and will be eligible to enter Kindergarten the following year. This is a FREE program but pre-registration is required. UPK is a half-day program promoting school readiness and focuses on all aspects of healthy development including social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. The UPK classrooms are strategically located throughout the city of Geneva to enhance accessibility for all families. Applications are now being accepted and can be picked up at the West Street Primary School, Geneva City School District Administration Center at North Street Elementary School, Geneva General Child Development Center, Geneva Lakefront Child Development Center, Geneva Agri-Business Child Development Center, Happiness House and Child and Family Resource Center or by calling 315-781-4104.The deadline for applications is Friday, March 30, 2012.
