Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators along with Seneca County Department of Human Services investigators arrested two persons after an investigation in to welfare fraud in Seneca County. Christina A. Strally, age 33 of 7 Reed Street Waterloo, NY was charged with Offering a False Instrument 1st, a class E felony. The charge stems from Strally submitting paperwork to DHS that contained false information in an attempt to obtain welfare benefits. Jessica A. Wilson, age 32, of 7180 Main Street Ovid, NY was charged with Welfare Fraud 4th, a class E felony. The charge stems from Wilson fraudulently receiving welfare benefits. Strally and Wilson were both arraigned in Village of Waterloo court and both were released to re-appear on 03/06/12 in Village court. These arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into welfare fraud in Seneca County by the Seneca County Sheriff’s office.
