On February 9th 2012 at 0743 hrs Waterloo Village Police arrested Jason P.Griffin age 36 of 123 East Elisha Street Waterloo for Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd,Criminal Obstruction of Breathing 2nd and Harassment2nd. The charges stem from an investigation into a domestic incident where Griffin allegedly choked a 41 year Waterloo Village resident by the neckand held the person down restricting the person from leaving. Griffin was arraigned before Waterloo Village Justice Mattoon and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2000.00 cash or $4,000.00 bond. Griffin will have to reappear in Waterloo Village Court on March 7th 2012 at 9 a.m. A stay away order of protection was issued.
