The Waterloo Police Department investigated a Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Accident that occurred at the intersection of St. Rt. 5 and St. Rt. 96 on Saturday.A vehicle operated by Kristopher M. Campanello, 26 of Waterloo was traveling westbound and failed to stop for a red light. Campanello’s vehicle struck a bus carrying the University of Rochester track team to a meet at Cornell University. Campanello’s vehicle then struck another vehicle.Campanello sustained minor injuries and refused treatment.Campenello’s vehicle sustained heavy front end damage and was towed from the scene. The other vehicles were driven from the scene.Campanello was issue a ticket for passing the red light.The Waterloo Police Department was assisted at the scene by members of the Waterloo Volunteer Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance, and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
