On the morning of 02/05/12, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Deputies investigated a PI MVA on State Route 89 in the Town of Romulus. Deputies report a 2011 Range Rover, driven by Paige Phillips age 19, of 5817 E. Henrietta Rd. Rush N.Y., was southbound on State Route 89 when she struck a guard rail on the west side of the roadway, causing her vehicle to roll into a gully. Phillips was treated on location by South Seneca Ambulance for a complaint of a pain and a laceration to the right hand. Phillips signed off on being transported. The vehicle was totaled and subsequent to an investigation, Phillips was issued a summons for Failure to use Designated Lane and is to appear in the Town of Romulus Court on the 16th of March at 10:00am. Phill ips was also issued a DMV hearing notice for Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol less than 21 years of age, commonly called the Zero Tolerance Law. This is a civil law and is handled by a DMV.
