National acts headline Ithaca Bluegrass Fest

The 2nd Annual Winter Village Bluegrass Festival is a weekend of concerts, workshops, and jamming for musicians and music lovers looking for an inspiring and fun winter music experience. This year, the Winter Village music festival features concerts and workshops by three national bands – the Gibson Brothers, Sierra Hull & Highway 111, and Tony Trischka & Territory. The festival is hosted by La Tourelle Resort & Spa, a lovely country inn in Ithaca, NY with a Saturday night concert at the Hangar Theatre.The bluegrass bands performing at Winter Village represent the best of American bluegrass today with great original songs, heartfelt singing and harmony vocals, virtuosic instrumental playing, and well-crafted arrangements. Ithaca is putting down the welcome mat for these great musicians and for music lovers by hosting concerts, workshops and events at the newly restored Hangar Theatre, the cozy country resort La Tourelle, the renowned Moosewood Restaurant, and the new Finger Lakes Wine Center.
