WPD arrests SF woman for theft from employer

Waterloo Police Dept arrested Marjorie L. Rotz, age 46, of 228 Falls St. Apt 4, Seneca Falls, on charges of Falsifying Business Records 1st degree (Class E Felony), Grand Larceny 3rd degree (Class D Felony) and Petit Larceny, following an investigation by Waterloo Police and NYSP-Waterloo.Rotz is accused of accepting over $3000 in cash, as a former manager of a business in the Village of Waterloo, and not reporting the money to her employer. She is also accused of taking $200 cash from the office of her former employer. The crimes are alleged to have occurred from June 2010 through October 2011.Rotz was arraigned in Waterloo Village Court and sent to SCCF on $5,000 / $10,000 bail. She is scheduled to re-appear in Waterloo Village Court on 12/27/11.
