The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Investigators arrested and charged Timothy L. Knapp age 37 of Lodi with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The charges stem from a domestic violence complaint where it is alleged that Knapp struck a thirteen year old female in the mouth and had the thirteen year old female drive a motor vehicle earlier in the evening. Knapp was arraigned in the Town of Lodi Court and was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail/ $10,000 secured bond. Knapp is scheduled to re- appear before the Town of Lodi Court on January 19, 2012 to answer the charges. An order of protection was issued and the investigation is on going.
