The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports Investigators arrested Michael P. Belanger, age 31 of an unknown address, for failing to report a change of address, as a level three sex offender, a class E felony. Belanger was also charged with failing to verify his address, with the Sheriff’s office, a class E felony. A level three sex offender is required to report an address change with in 10 days and has to verify their address in person every 90 days. Belanger was evicted in November and did not change his address and failed to report for his verification. Belanger was arrested at a business in Ontario County and arraigned in Town of Fayette Court where he was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in Lieu of $750.00 cash or $1500.00 bail bond.
