Seneca County Sheriffs Office reports, Deputies arrested Nicholas J Ike, 26, of 8567 Mill St Lodi NY, on Assault in the second degree a class D felony. It is alleged Ike struck a Town of Ovid resident during a physical altercation at a Town of Ovid business. The altercation resulted in a Town of Ovid man having to be transported to Cayuga medical center for treatment of head and neck injuries, and later released. Ike was arraigned in the Town of Ovid Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2500 cash bail, $5000 secured bond. Ike is to reappear in the Town of Ovid Court on Dec 1st 2011, to answer the charges.
