Seneca Sheriff arrests 2 for controlled substance

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Deputies arrested Paul Sturiale age 22 of 1875 Auburn Road, Lot 2, Seneca Falls, New York, and Nicholas Wheeler age 19 of 74 State St, Seneca Falls, New York for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th. Deputies discovered a disabled vehicle at the intersection of SR 318 and SR 414 in the Town of Tyre. While investigating the incident it was determined that both parties were in possession of a controlled substance. Sturiale was also issued a citation for operating out of class. Wheeler was released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear at the Town of Tyre Court at a later date. Sturiale was brought to the Town of Tyre Court for arraignment. He was committed to the custody of the Sheriff’s Office in lieu of $500 cash bail $1000 bond. NYS parolee violated Sturiale, for that violation he was committed to the Correctional facility on no bail pending a parole hearing.
