Two arrested, officer injured in downtown Seneca Falls Brawl & Foot Chase

On November 5th, 2011 at approx. 2:03 AM Seneca Falls Police were dispatched to Bull’s Run Grille and Ale House located at 6 Ovid Street in Seneca Falls, NY for people refusing to leave. When Officers arrived it was learned that a fight took place outside the establishment. Witnesses pointed out to the police one subject and when they attempted to interview him he started to run leading officers on a foot chase. After this short foot chase the subject was caught by a Seneca Falls Police Officer. The subject failed to comply with officers orders and resist while he was being handcuffed. This subject, who was later identified as Aleem J. Whitfield, age 21 from 148 William Street Geneva, NY was then arrested without any further incident. During the arrest of Whitfield a witness pointed out another subject that was allegedly involved in a fight outside the establishment. When Police went to interview this subject he also left the area on foot leading police on yet another foot chase. After a short foot chase this subject was also apprehended by a Seneca Falls Police Officer. Once this subject was apprehended he also began fighting with police officers. During this struggle a Seneca Falls Police Officer injured his knee causing him to be transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital for treatment. The Officer was treated by Geneva General Hospital for this injury and later released for further treatment. This subject was then identified as Troy F. Randleman, age 21 from 70 West Ave Geneva, NY. During this investigation it was learned that Randleman was removed from the establishment earlier in the night by staff for causing a disturbance. During the last altercation Randleman was allegedly involved in a fight outside. Once the fight broke up, Randleman allegedly ran back into the bar and threw some glasses on the floor causing them to break. Randleman then ran into the kitchen where he was found by staff hiding under a pizza oven. Randleman had to be physically removed by staff.
