The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will be hosting an upcoming Membership Orientation Program, “Chamber 101,” for both new and current members. The educational, seminar-like event will be held at Seneca Meadows Education Center (photo), located at 1977 State Route 414 in Seneca Falls, on Wednesday November 2, 2011. The event will take place from 8:00-10:00 a.m.“Often times our members aren’t fully aware of the programs and services that are available to them,” stated Miranda O. Polmanteer, the Chamber’s Membership Development Manager. “This is an opportunity for new and existing members to not only see first-hand the different benefits to take advantage of, but to also learn about new programs and services that perhaps they weren’t aware of before, and how such programs would benefit their individual businesses and goals.”Highlights of the new style orientation program include Program & Department Overviews, Chamber Committees & Special Events, and Fast Facts dealing with Health Insurance, Marketing, Networking Opportunities and other popular topics. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a meet and greet and question/answer session with Chamber staff, committee members and board representatives. This event is free to attend but reservations are required, as space is limited. Light refreshments will be served. For more information or to reserve spaces, please contact the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce at (315) 568-2906 no later than Monday, October 31, 2011.
