Bar patrons arrested in downtown SF last night

On 10/22/11 at approximately 2:03 a.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested James A. Centner, age 32, of 7967 Vallance Road, Leroy, NY for Disorderly Conduct and Open Alcoholic Beverage Container. Centner was observed by a village police officer exiting an establishment at the end of Cowing Street with an open beer bottle in his hand. Centner was then observed walking from the the establishment underneath the east side of the Ovid Street Bridge and urinating at that location. He was issued appearance tickets on all charges and is to appear in court on 10/27/11 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges.On 10/22/11 at approximately 2:25 a.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Benjamin M. Pardee, age 30, of 32 Swift Street, Waterloo, NY on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. Police responded to an establishment on Fall Street for a report of an unruly patron refusing to leave the establishment. Initial investigation revealed the unruly patron to be Pardee, who was highly intoxicated while at the scene. Pardee was standing outside the establishment and was observed by police being belligerent, swearing, and upsetting other patrons at the scene. He was advised to stop and continued swearing towards officers and other patrons, further upsetting the patrons. Officers then attempted to place Pardee under arrest for disorderly conduct. Pardee refused to comply with officer’s verbal commands to place his hands behind his back and was struggling with officers as they were attempting to place him in custody. Police had to physically restrain Pardee in order to handcuff him. He was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court on all charges, but due to his level of intoxication, Pardee could not be arraigned at this time. He was committed to SCCF on $2500 Cash/$5000 Bond and has to re-appear in court on 10/24/11 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges.
