Mercy Flight called to Branchport accident

A 39 year old Prattsburgh woman, Ms.Rhonda Bray was East-bound on Italy Hill Rd. when the vehicle exited the the south side of the roadway onto the shoulder. The vehicle came back into the lane of traffic and was overcorrect, exiting the south side of the roadway, striking a ditch causing the vehicle to become airborne for a brief distance. The vehicle then struck a utility pole causing it to spin and strike a tree eventually coming to rest on it’s top. All three occupants of the vehicle were flown to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment. Called to scene were Branchport/Keuka Park Fire, Penn Van Fire, Penn Van Ambulance, Medic 30, Mercy Flight(three helicopters), Middlesex Ambulance, Finger Lakes Ambulance. Benton Fire assisted with landing zone and Middlesex and Dundee Ambulance assisted with ambulance coverage.
