On 10/04/11 at approximately 11:22 p.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Shawn M. Meacham, age 19, of 31 Cayuga Street, Apt. 3, Clyde, NY following a police investigation into a larceny complaint. Police state they responded to a village resident’s home after several prescription pills were reported missing. Further investigation revealed Meacham as a person of interest in the case. When interviewed by police, Meacham admitted to police that he took the pills while visiting a friend at the residence. Meacham was charged with Petit Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree. He was released on appearance tickets to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 10/06/11 at 10:00 a.m.
