On 09/29/11 at approximately 9:20 p.m. Jose J. Delfi, age 42, and Lise E. Helmer, age 35, both of 6 Washington Street, Seneca Falls, NY were arrested following a domestic dispute in the Village of Seneca Falls. Police stated that both parties claimed that the other became physical after a verbal argument between the 2 of them. Village police state the pair were both charged with Harassment in the 2nd Degree and that Delfi was additionally charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child after police were informed that Delfi punched Helmer as she held a one-year-old in her arms during the physical dispute. Both were arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and were committed to SCCF. Delfi was committed on $1000 Cash/$2000 Bond while Helmer was committed on $500 Cash/$1000 Bond. Both have to re-appear in court on 10/12/11 at 9:00 a.m. to answer the charges. Both were issued stay-away orders of protection.
