A 15-year-old male was charged with Petit Larceny following a larceny complaint from a village business in Seneca Falls. Village police state that during the late evening of 09/25/11 they responded to a local business after a teenager was observed walking out of the business without paying for a Monster Energy Drink. Police were given a description of the teen and were advised the teen was seen walking away from the business. Police located a teenager matching the description given a short distance away from the local business and he was questioned. Employees verified that the teenager being questioned was the one they observed steal the energy drink from the business. When questioning the teenager, police recovered the stolen Monster Energy Drink and it was returned to the local business. Along with petit larceny, the teenager was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree. The teenager was petitioned to appear in Seneca County Family Court to answerthe charges.
