Additional rain will result in the possibility of Flash Flooding. Currently, showers and thunderstorms are expected to diminish this morning………then become more widespread later this afternoon and tonight. Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches are possible. with locally higher amounts in areas of persistent bands.A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding, which can be very dangerous. You should monitor continuing weather forecasts and be prepared to take precautionary measures should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
