The Seneca Falls Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance as they continue to investigate an incident that occurred in the village. In the early morning of September 25th, 2011 the Seneca falls Police Department was called to Cowing Street for a hit and run accident in which the caller stated he heard a loud boom and noticed that a trailer had been struck by some sort of vehicle. The vehicle had left the scene prior to the caller notifying police. There was no damage observed to the trailer. From information gathered at the scene, the vehicle involved is believed to be a dark metallic, silver colored vehicle that may have severe damage to the rear of the vehicle.
