The Seneca County Sheriffs Office reports, Sheriff Deputies arrested Dean C Lemmon, age 23 of 1569 North Road, Waterloo NY for discharge of petroleum, a violation charge stemming from an incident on Aug 12th 2011 where Lemmon attempted to intentionally sink a boat in Seneca Lake, causing oil and gasoline to spill into the Lake, a violation of NYS Navigation Law. The vessel did not completely sink and was recovered by the Sheriff’s Office navigation unit. Lemmon was issued a simplified information and is to re-appear in the town of Fayette court on September 28th 2011 to answer to the charge. The NYS DEC Environmental Police assisted with the investigation
