The registration period for the Schuyler County Household Hazardous Waste, Electronics and Tire Collection Day has been extended to Monday September 19. This is a great way for Schuyler County residents to dispose of hazardous materials appropriately. Hazardous waste and electronics will be accepted for free and a $1.50 recycling fee will be collected for each tire. To register your materials, please visit www.sc-landuse.org or call Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schuyler County at 535-7161. Be sure to have a list of materials you would like to dispose of prior to calling.
