North Rose man arrested on harassment warrant

On 09/09/11 at approximately 6:13 p.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Jacob W. Reintjes, age 22, of 10798 Wolcott Rd, North Rose, NY on a warrant for Harassment in the 2nd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.Reintjes is accused of engaging in a physical altercation with a village resident while in the presence of a child. Village police also state that Reintjes was located and arrested after police observed him operating a motor vehicle that had a suspended registration due to an insurance lapse. Reintjes’s vehicle was also observed to be uninspected and not have an operable stop lamp. Reintjes was additionally charged with the misdemeanor of Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration, Failure to Surrender License Plates, Inadequate/No Stop Lamps, and Operating an Uninspected Motor Vehicle. He was arraigned on all charges in Seneca Falls Town Court. He was committed to the SCCF on $1000 Cash/$2000 Bond for the charges related to the domestic.Additionally, he was committed to SCCF on $500 Cash/$1000 Bond related to the traffic stop charges. Reintjes is to re-appear in court on 09/28/11 at 9 a.m. to answer all the charges. A stay-away order of protection was issued for the victim.
