The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Deputies were dispatched to a Town of Tyre business for the report of a domestic in progress. Upon arrival deputies were informed that a male had struck a female in the face while she was holding a 13 month old child. Another female tried to break up the altercation and the male struck her as well. Deputies charged Jacob McFarland, age 26, of 2852 Transit Road, West Seneca, NY with two counts of Harassment 2nd, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. McFarland was arraigned at the Town of Tyre Court where he was committed to the custody of the Sheriff in lieu of $500/$1000 secure bond. He is scheduled to reappear at the Town of Tyre Court on 09/20/2011. A class A order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
