Savannah, Clyde women arrested for menacing

The Seneca County Sheriffs Office reports, Sheriff Deputies arrested Lindsey M. Snyder age 19 of 1584 High St. Savannah, NY. Snyder was charged with menacing in the 3rd degree and stalking in the 4th degree following an investigation in which she allegedly operated a motor vehicle following a 23 year old female and then exited her vehicle to threaten the female victim at two different intersections causing the female victim to fear for her safety. A second defendant in the case Kristine Soto age 22 of 90 Mill St. Clyde, NY was arrested and charged with attempted assault in the third degree and menacing in the third degree. It is alleged that Soto who was a passenger in Snyder’s vehicle exited the vehicle at both intersections as well and approached the same female victim in a threatening manner and then pulled the victim’s hair while striking her in the head. The alleged incident occurred on State Route 89 in the Town of Tyre on August 27th 2011 and the suspects fled the scene prior to law enforcement arrival. Snyder and Soto were taken into custody on August 29th 2011 at which time they were brought before the Town of Tyre Court’s Judge Mills for an arraignment. The subjects were released on their own recognizance and are scheduled to re-appear before the court on September 20th 2011 to answer the charges. Class A stay away Orders of Protection were issued on behalf of the victim.
