Congressman Tom Reed will hold three town hall meetings this Saturday, August 27, in Schuyler, Ontario, and Monroe Counties. “Critical decisions are going to be made this fall in Washington,” Reed said. “Policies to get government out of the way of job creators, specific appropriations for the 2012 budget and long-term solutions to our debt crisis are all on the agenda. I hope that residents of the 29th District will come to the meetings to share thoughts and ideas on their priorities for impending spending cuts.”The meetings provide an opportunity for residents of the 29th Congressional District to express opinions and speak directly with the Congressman. As of Saturday, Reed will have held 21 official town hall meetings thus far this year as well as dozens of other public meetings and teletown hall meetings.
