Dr. Konstantin Frank Vinifera Wine Cellars, now the oldest vinifera winery in the Finger Lakes, has been producing outstanding wines since 1962. Now in its fourth generation, the Frank family continues this tradition of excellence. The winery and family was recently featured in “Great Performances by Family Wineries” in the Fall 2011 issue of Wine & Spirits Magazine.In its Fall 2011 issue, Wine & Spirits Magazine highlights what it considers to be the top performances by family wineries. Dr. Frank’s 2008 Semi-Dry Riesling and 2008 Bunch Select Late Harvest Riesling were selected as two of the top performers. The 2008 Semi-Dry Riesling was rated “91 Points” while the 2008 Bunch Select Late Harvest Riesling was rated “90 Points”.
