Teens take parents’ vehicle, hit fire SF hydrant

On 08-19-11 at approx 3:00 am, SFPD arrested a 15 year old male juvenile and a 14 year old male juvenile for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. While investigating a complaint of suspicious persons in the area of 8 Washington St Seneca Falls, police located the two juveniles inside a garage located on East Bayard St. After further investigation, it was discovered that the juveniles had taken a parent’s vehicle for a joy ride and while driving the vehicle lost control and struck a fire hydrant on Washington St. Juveniles then left the scene of the accident. Juveniles are to appear at the Seneca County Probation Dept on 08-22-11.
