Schuyler CCE names new executive director

The Search Committee and Board of Directors of Cornell Cooperative Extension, Schuyler County (CCESC) announce the appointment of Danielle Hautaniemi, AICP, as Executive Director for CCESC beginning August 16, 2011.Ms. Hautaniemi has been employed by CCESC as the Director of Planning and Community Development since 2000. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College in Architecture & Urbanism, and a Masters in Regional Planning from Cornell University.According to Elizabeth Stamp, President of the Board of Directors, “Danielle’s extensive experience with CCE Schuyler County, knowledge of our community and her enthusiasm about working with the knowledgeable and professional staff at CCE Schuyler make her the best person to lead the organization in these challenging and exciting times.” Ms. Hautaniemi fills the position formerly held by Robin N. Travis, who retired at the end of June, 2011.
