Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Sheriff’s Deputy’s responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident on 07/29/2011 at 5:18 PM in the Hamlet of Canoga on State Route 89. It is reported that the driver of the vehicle, Donald A Lipker JR, age 49 of 3124 Leader Rd Seneca Falls NY was southbound on State Route 89 when he crossed over into the northbound lane of travel. The vehicle then left the roadway, striking a utility pole. Lipker Jr. was the only person in the vehicle. The accident is still under investigation. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the New York State Park Police and Canoga Fire Department
