The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies responded to a house fire at 8892 Little Point Road in the Town of Covert at approximately 11:45 pm on 07-31-11. The home belonging to Robert and Catherine Duthie is believed to be a total loss, actual amount is unknown. The Duthie’s were home at the time of the fire but were able to make it out unharmed. The cause of the fire is still under investigation; however it is not believed to be suspicious.
