The Cayuga County Office of Tourism will host an open house from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, August 5th to show the community their newly remodeled visitor information center at 131 Genesee Street in downtown Auburn. The information center stocks a vast array of brochures and maps to help visitors find their way to interesting things to see and do throughout Cayuga County, along with knowledgeable staff to assist them in planning their itineraries.Local food pairings along with displays by Finger Lakes Wooden Toy Company, Lucky Stone Bracelets, MGM Photography and Trillium Graphics will be on hand and a FREE gift will be given to the first fifty people in attendance.The open house is being held in conjunction with Auburn’s First Friday, a FREE event which includes exhibits, tours, refreshments and music at the Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center, Auburn Public Theater, the Cayuga Museum of History & Art, the downtown Auburn BID, and several other downtown Auburn businesses.
