The Seneca County Sheriffs Office reports, Sheriff Deputies investigated a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident that occurred on State Route 414 by the Thruway entrance. A 2009 Ford Escape being driven by Tammy L Sutterby, age 45 of 592 Sutterby Rd Seneca Falls was traveling southbound on State Route 414 when a 1994 Ford Taurus being driven by Robert L Jones, age 35 of 173 E Mohawk St Oswego traveling northbound attempted to make a left turn onto the Thruway Access Rd. Jones failed to yield the right of way to Sutterby causing the two cars to collide head on, causing both vehicles to sustain heavy damage. Sutterby was transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital for leg and chest pain. Jones was transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Upstate Medical Hospital for leg pain. Jones was issued a citation for Failure to Yield Right of Way. Assisting at the scene were the New York State Police and Magee Fire Dept.
