Waterloo man charged in domestic incident

On July 27th, 2011, the Waterloo Police Department arrested David F. Carragher (age 26) of 317 East Williams Street, Waterloo, NY 13165 for endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of stolen property. It is alleged that during a domestic dispute between Carragher and his wife, he drove to a residence in the Village where she was staying and intentionally struck another vehicle in the driveway while his wife was standing next to it. Carragher also had his three year old son in the vehicle at the time of the collision. There was no injuries as a result of this incident.Carragher was also charged with criminal possession of stolen property from an on-going case that was being investigated by the Waterloo Police earlier this month. This case involved a report of stolen golf clubs from a Village resident that was observed on Carragher’s property by a Waterloo Police Officer.Carragher was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court, committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2000.00 bail and is to appear at a later date to answer to the three charges. A class “A” order of protection was issued for the victims in the case involving the domestic dispute.
