On 07/20/2011, at 9:00AM, Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested Jessica A Wilson, age 29, of 59 North Virginia Street Apartment 2C, Waterloo N.Y. for Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the first degree—a class E Felony. The charge stems from a joint investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and the Seneca County Division of Human Services Welfare Fraud Unit.It is alleged that in April of 2011 Wilson filed paperwork at Seneca County Workforce Development that listed employers that she had submitted employment applications to. Investigation revealed that this paperwork was false in that Wilson did not submit these applications. Persons receiving services are often required to actively seek employment and document their attempts. Falsifying these attempts is a crime.Wilson was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and was released to re-appear on 9/7/2011.
