Due to a utility construction project at the 200‑block of East Seneca Street, the Seneca Street Shelter (Seneca @ Commons stop) will continue to be relocated, tentatively through the end of Monday, July 18.All routes will stop on the 100‑block of East Seneca Street in front of Starbucks and the Hilton Garden Inn.Signage will be posted to guide passengers to the appropriate waiting areas. Route 67 Detour: Newfield Depot Rd. Bridge ClosureNewfield Depot Rd. will be closed to all traffic between Valley Manor and Babbling Brook in the Town of Newfield starting Tuesday, July 19 and is expected to open in late October. As a result, passengers of Route 67 should expect temporary service changes and possible delays starting July 19.Outbound departure times will remain the same as shown on printed and online schedules. During peak-hour trips, passengers traveling from Ithaca to Newfield Depot Rd. or West Danby Rd. must change buses at Early Bird Fruit Stand on Elmira Rd; Bus Operators will alert passengers at the appropriate time to transfer.In order to maintain scheduled arrival times in Ithaca, inbound departure times on peak-hour trips may be adjusted 10 minutes earlier than shown on regular schedules. Inbound buses serving Newfield Depot Rd. and West Danby Rd. will end at Green Street Station; passengers continuing to Cornell should transfer at Green St. @ Commons to other routes serving Cornell.In order to maintain scheduled arrival times in Ithaca, buses will no longer be able to serve Shelter Valley.
