Convention Days, Inc. is proud to announce that Jeb and Diana Becker are the recipients of the 2011 Convention Days Community Service Award. Join us on Friday, July 15th, from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm, at the Seneca Falls Historical Society (55 Cayuga Street), for the official award presentation and a reception to honor Jeb and Diana’s work and dedication to the local community.“Jeb and Diana continually demonstrate the true meaning of community service. They give of themselves freely and unselfishly, expecting nothing in return. Seneca Falls is a better place because of people like Jeb and Diana and we can’t think of a more appropriate couple to honor this year. They are wonderful examples for others to emulate,” said Christine Moulton, President of the Convention Days Committee.Jeb and Diana have been active members and volunteers within the Seneca Falls community for many years. Over those years, they have shared their time and talents with organizations like the American Red Cross, the Seneca Falls Library, Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes, the Seneca County United Way, and more. Diana currently serves as a Trustee of Cayuga Home for Children, is President of the Seneca County Children’s Committee and of Pathway Home (Comfort Care Home), and is an Elder in the Presbyterian Church. Jeb is the current Secretary and Past President of the Seneca Cayuga ARC, President of the House of Concern, and a Board Member and Past President of the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce. Jeb and Diana have four children and seven grandchildren.
