Seneca Falls teen gets DWI after rollover

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on July 09, 2011 at 2:33 AM, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Joseph D Urbas, age 19, of 1270 Gravel Rd Seneca Falls NY, on Burgess Rd in the Town of Seneca Falls. He was charged with Misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated, Speed Unreasonable and Prudent, and Failure to Use Designated Lane and is to appear before the Town of Waterloo, Justice Marsh on August 30, 2011 to answer the charges.Prior to the arrest deputies responded to a one car rollover accident on Burgess Rd. A black Honda Civic being operated by Joseph D Urbas, age 19 of 1270 Gravel Rd Seneca Falls was traveling southbound on Burgess Rd when Urbas lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle came to rest on its right side on the west side of the road. Urbas was transported to Geneva General Hospital by Finger Lakes Ambulance for possible head and neck injuries. A passenger in the vehicle Kyle M Bush, age 16 of 1291 East Tyre Rd Seneca Falls was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight for possible head, neck and back injuries. The vehicle involved sustained heavy damage. Also assisting at the scene was North Seneca Ambulance, Waterloo Fire Department and the New York State Police. The accident is still under investigation.
