Lyons man breaks into SF home, chokes woman

BrantleySeneca Falls Police arrested Rondell N. Brantley, age 22, of 27 Elmer Street, Lyons, NY on Thursday July 7th, 2011 at about 4am.Brantley allegedly entered an apartment on Clinton Street without permission and grabbed a 21 year old female, whom had an Order of Protection against him, by the neck and began choking her. Brantley also punched the 21 year old and pushed a 26 year old female during the altercation. Brantley then began punching the door to the apartment causing damage when the females were able to lock the door and then fled the scene.Brantley was located hiding in a yard a block away by police a short time after the initial call. Brantley was charged with Burglary in the 2nd Degree (Class C Felony), Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree (Class E Felony), Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree and 2 Counts of Harassment in the 2nd Degree. Brantley was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court by the Hon. Joyce Mahoney and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash/$20,000 bond and is to reappear on July 12th, 2011 at 2:30pm for a Felony Hearing.
