Taughannock summer concert series begins 7/9

Twenty-five years into a music career that has seen him lead the Tribulations, John Brown’s Body and a variety of other projects, Kevin Kinsella is ready to make a name for himself. The concert will showcase songs from his recently released record “Great Design” on ROIR Records. While Kinsella is mainly known for his reggae music, his influences are much broader, spanning soul, country, folk and much more. This new album is a nice overview of what I write,” Kinsella said. Taughannock Falls State Park announces the 2011 Summer Concert Series highlighting our rich local talent. The concert series, now in its 33rd year, is one of the most popular events in the region. It features a wide variety of high quality music performed on the shore of beautiful Cayuga Lake. The concerts take place at 7:00 p.m. on seven consecutive Saturday evenings from July 9th through August 20th. Bring your picnics, blankets and lawn chairs and get ready to enjoy an evening of music. The concert parking fee is just $5.00 per carload.
