Ithaca police rarrested a husband and wife Thursday night, charging them with allegedly possessing 638 envelopes of heroin worth nearly $16,000.The arrest of Daniel and Lorraine Pierce were made after Ithaca Police searched an East Buffalo St. apartment and a Route 366 storage facility in the Town of Dryden at late Thursday morning, police say. Police also seized $2,980 in cash and a vehicle.The couple were arraigned in Dryden Town court on felony criminal possession of a controlled substance charges and sent to Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. Ithaca City Police are continuing their investigation.
