The Finger Lakes Times reported today that the Geneva City Police have ruled out anything suspicious in the death last week of 24 year-old Sydney Bermon. Lt. Jeffry Trickler said that there were no signs of foul play or forced entry into the woman’s Andes Ave apartment. Trickler said police are waiting for a full report from the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office before announcing the cause of death. Bermon was taken to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy after she was found unresponsive in her apartment by a family member who called police about 11:30 a.m. last Wednesday. While it was noted that Bermon was pregnant at the time of her death, an accurate determination of how far along the pregnancy was, was undetermined.
