Cynthia Hamrick, 41 of Newark was charged thursday by Seneca Falls Police following an incident on Fall Street. The incident happened in the parking lot of a Seneca Falls business and involved Hamrick allegedly pulling and grabbing a 52 year old developmentally disabled women that was in Hamrick’s care at the time. According to the Finger Lakes Times. police charged Hamrick with second degree endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person, a low level felony. Hamrick was released with an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in early July. The Finger Lakes Development Disabilities Service Office assisted the Seneca Falls Police Dept.
