Susan Sinclair, Seneca County Manager since 2007, has resigned her post effective on July 22, 2011. Sinclair made the announcement at a Public Works Committee meeting on Wednesday evening and informed department heads on Thursday.She has accepted a position in the finance department of Finger Lakes Health, which operates medical facilities and nursing homes in Ontario, Seneca, Wayne and Yates counties.According to the Finger Lakes Times, Sinclair said, “I’m not leaving out of any dissatisfaction with the county. I enjoyed my job very much, and the board was proposing a new contract next Tuesday,.. But this job offer came through. I wasn’t looking. They approached me with a nice offer, both financially and as an opportunity for personal growth,” Sinclair said Thursday.
